Fascinated by aviation from the age of about 10, I've been blessed with opportunities in Canada and beyond. Joining the Royal Canadian Air Force in 1999 and serving as a CF-18 fighter pilot then with the Snowbirds jet team as the Lead Solo is what led me to the opportunity to found the Northern Stars Aeroteam along with friend and fellow RCAF veteran Todd Farrell.

Somehow most of my play time involves wings and things! Whether it's a flying a paraglider in the Rocky Mountains or Mexico, or ocean sailing (the ultimate low-altitude knife edge pass!) there's just something about harnessing the power of the air that I can't get enough of.

Supported from start to finish by my family, we've had the great fortune of venturing outside our comfort zones together. In 2019 we sold our house and moved aboard a 42' sailboat to travel the Bahamas, Cuba and Mexico before returning to Canada in 2020.
